Sunil Paul ( Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer )
Sunil Paul is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Finesse Global, a ‘Red Herring Global Top 100 System Integration company’ & Winner of ‘Integrator ICT Champion Software Solutions Integrator 2014’. Recognized as a thought leader and a leading strategist, he actively participates in leading publications and talks in the Middle East region.
Since co-founding Finesse in 2010, Sunil designs and drives strategy for revenue growth, geographic addition & value creation, in addition to managing human resource and operations. In this role, he led the company’s global forays into providing focused solutions in a mix of industry verticals, more notable in the Banking and Financial, Retail, Healthcare, Hospitality and Education segments. His focused approach to delivering value-centric solutions and services has resulted in key customer acquisitions and several industry recognitions for Finesse. Under his able guidance, Finesse today boasts of seven of ten major banks in UAE as customers, three of five telcos as clients, managed process services rollout to clients in the banking, financial and retail industries, Industry leading ISVs as partners – IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, EMC, MetricStream, Kofax, Qlik and Seclore among others. His leadership has brought Finesse to a team size of 250+ spread across 10 global locations facilitating over 150 enterprise clients. The company has been recognized as an Industry leader winning many accolades such as the Red Herring Global Top 100 System Integration Company Award and the ICT Integrator Champion ‘Software Solutions Integrator of the Year’ Award in 2014 and 2015 along with almost 10 other International Awards.
In addition, Sunil also oversees the functioning of the Finesse Foundation, a non-profit CSR initiative, working towards empowerment of education and healthcare.
With 20+ years information technology industry experience, Sunil has set up many successful business initiatives throughout his career. Before Finesse, Sunil co-founded Y-Axis Systems, a T24 core-banking services company, which was later acquired by a leading European IT MNC. Sunil served as the Vice-President for BahwanCyberTek spearheading their BFSI business & operations from 2008 to 2010. Sunil also started the BFSI practice for Imtac in 2002 and grew it up to one of the largest BFSI solution providers in the GCC.
Sunil holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Atlanta. He is an avid technology enthusiast and regularly blogs on emerging paradigms in the Technology services industry. He is married with 2 children.
